OUR MISSION

The mission of the Bayou Tri-Parish Chapter are:

1.    To unite into a single group the graduates and former students of Southern University in the parishes of Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge.
2.    To foster a spirit of cooperation and fellowship between the Institution and its graduates.
3.    To promote the welfare of Southern University, primarily through financial contributions.
4.    To encourage and stimulate high peaks of performance and wholesome school spirit.
5.    To promote Southern University as an educational institution and provide a support network to new graduates and SUAF members who live in the Iberville Parish, Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge areas.
6.    To help promote a strong image of Southern University in the Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge communities and encourage and coordinate activities of the members in support of the educational programs of Southern University.
